On May 9th and 10th, 2014, 24 runners from Newtown/Sandy Hook, Connecticut, competed in the Ragnar Relay Cape Cod.
For the second straight year, they ran in support of KIDS in The GAME. Dean and Tricia Pinto, chose to partner with us in honor of their son, Jack. Jack lost his life in the Sandy Hook School shootings on December 14, 2012.
Jack’s energy, spirit and love of sports are part of what made him so special. It is their hope that by running and supporting KIDS in the GAME, they can give the gift of sports to children who otherwise might not be fortunate enough to have that opportunity.
They ran together with enthusiasm, team spirit, determination and positive energy much like Jack brought to every sport he played.
