Nike reaches out KIDS in the GAME to respond to the needs of Federal Employees impacted by the furlough. KIDS in the GAME creates the Federal Employee Pass that helps 206 kids across 31 states participate in 30 different sports.

October 2018

In partnership with PHIT America, KIDS in the GAME launches a GO! Grant awarding 25 schools AMPED. 

June 2018

AMPED is launched! KIDS in the GAME creates its own school-based running program designed to engage kids and get them running at school. 

December 2017

Offered our first ever Holiday GO! Grant making it super easy for schools to increase physical activity by taking only 2-5 minutes to apply.

May 2016

With the support of Nike, Nautilus, Reeser Fine Foods and PacificSource the Pass program is expanded to Portland, Oregon.

March 2016

Second year of offering the GO! Grant. So many schools apply we have over 445 schools still needing support.

April 2015

Launched the GO! Grant in partnership with Sports Fitness Industry Association, PHIT America and over 20 sports brands. Helping schools bring back physical activity before, during and after school!

January 2014

With the support of Active Network, the KIDS in the GAME Pass expands to San Diego, CA and with the support of two doctors who participated in the Cape Epic we brought the Pass to Leadville, CO.

January 2013

Have the privilege of honoring Jack Pinto, a remarkable young man who lost his life at the Sandy Hill School shooting. His parents make a donation to KIDS in the GAME in Jack’s honor.

March 2012

Active Network selects KIDS in the GAME as the beneficiary of their annual Charity Challenge, raising over $70K to help kids in San Diego play for after school sports.

2011

Expanded our reward programs to include the Inserium Soccer Awards: searching the country for the most inpsirational soccer players.

January 2010

Received our non-profit status and changed our name to KIDS in the GAME!

2009

Got our start as Trusted Sports. Began with the High School Football Rudy Awards – recognizing the most inspirational high school football players across the country.
